Envol pour le Kenya. Arrivée à l’aéroport international de Nairobi. Transfert vers votre hôtel.
Dîner libre. Nuit à l’hôtel
Jour 2 : Nairobi - Samburu (310 km / 5h30)
Petit-déjeuner. Route en direction du Nord, à travers les plantations de thé et de café. Déjeuner dans un restaurant niché dans un figuier sacré, pour y déguster de la truite, élevée sur place. Continuation vers la réserve nationale de Samburu.
Dîner et nuit à l’hôtel.
Jour 3 : Samburu
Petit-déjeuner. Départ pour un premier safari dans le parc national de Samburu.
On y observe des espèces rares que l’on ne voit presque nulle part ailleurs : le zèbre de Grévy, la girafe réticulée, l’autruche somalienne et l’élan de montagne. Bien sûr, lions, léopards, éléphants et hyènes complètent le spectacle sauvage. Déjeuner en cours de route.
Continuation vers le parc national de Buffalo Spring qui offre un safari sauvage et moins fréquenté, idéal pour observer la faune dans un cadre plus intimiste. Rencontre avec le peuple Samburu, éleveurs de chèvres et de dromadaires. Vous découvrirez leur mode de vie et leur quotidien.
Dîner et nuit au lodge.
Jour 4 : Samburu - Ol Pejeta (150 km / 3h)
Petit-déjeuner. Route direction de la réserve privée d’Ol Pejeta surplombée par le Mont Kenya, le plus haut sommetdu pays qui culmine à 5 199m d’altitude. Cette réserve est l’un des plus grands sanctuaires de rhinocéros noirs. Elle possède également les 2 derniers rhinocéros blancs du nord au monde. Déjeuner en cours de route.
Cette réserve est aussi un modèle de tourisme durable et de protection animale, avec des programmes de sensibilisation et des refuges pour animaux sauvés du braconnage ou de situations dangereuses. Dîner et nuit au camp.
Jour 5 : Ol Pejeta - Nairobi (220 km / 4h30)
Petit-déjeuner. Retour vers Nairobi. Visite d’une plantation de café et déjeuner.
Installation, dîner et nuit à l’hôtel.
Jour 6 : Nairobi - Masai Mara (250 km / 5h)
Petit-déjeuner. Départ pour la visite d’une plantation de thé, vous découvrirez comment le thé kényan est cultivé, cueilli et traité.
Déjeuner dans les jardins de la ferme avec dégustation de thé. Route en direction du Masai Mara.
Ce lieu accueille une faune d’une richesse exceptionnelle et la savane, peuplée de gnous du Mara, constitue sans aucun doute le principal attrait de la région.
Installation, dîner et nuit au camp.
Jour 7 : Masai Mara
Petit-déjeuner. Journée de safari à la découverte du Masaï Mara. Découverte de sa faune sauvage et de ses paysages exceptionnels s’étendant sur 1510 km². Déjeuner pique-nique.
C'est aussi dans cette région qu’est observée la Grande Migration, un cycle migratoire annuel qui voit environ 2 millions d’animaux se déplacer entre le Masai Mara et le Serengeti. Départ pour une promenade à pied accompagné d’un guide Masaï.
Dîner et nuit au lodge.
Jour 8 : Masai Mara – Nakuru (220 km / 5h)
Petit-déjeuner. Départ pour le parc national de Nakuru. L’immensité de ce point d’eau attire un grand nombre d’animaux sauvages. Déjeuner au lodge.
Puis, continuation pour un safari autour du lac. Lors de votre safari, vous pourrez observer les léopards qui se nichent sur les branches des acacias bordant les rives, les girafes, les buffles ou encore les rhinocéros. Installation, dîner et nuit au camp.
Jour 9 : Nakuru - Lac Naivasha - Nairobi (150 km / 3h30)
Petit-déjeuner. Puis, continuation avec votre véhicule pour le Lac Naivasha, au cœur de la Vallée du Grand Rift. Ce lac d’eau douce offre un cadre idyllique pour les hippopotames et l’observation ornithologique.
Départ pour une navigation d’environ 1h sur le lac Naivasha. Arrivée sur la terre ferme pour effectuer un safari pédestre sur l’île de Crescent. Cette réserve privée abrite de nombreuses espèces animales, comme les girafes, phacochères, zèbres, gazelles ou encore les impalas. Déjeuner à l’hôtel.
Retour à Nairobi et visite du Giraffe Center, dédié à la préservation des girafes Rothschild menacées d’extinction. Une plateforme surélevée vous permettra de les approcher et de les nourrir à la main.

Jour 10 : Nairobi - Parc national d’Amboseli (trajet en train 120 km / 2h30)
Petit-déjeuner. Transfert vers la gare de Nairobi et embarquement à bord du train vers Emali. Route en direction d’Amboseli, classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. Déjeuner au lodge.
Départ pour un premier safari en fin de journée. Entre marécage et savane, Amboseli est un lieu idéal pour l’observation des éléphants et des 400 espèces d’oiseaux recensées. Apéritif au coucher du soleil.
Installation, dîner et nuit au lodge.
Jour 11 : Amboseli
Petit-déjeuner. Journée de safari au cœur du parc d’Amboseli. Situé au sud du pays, à la frontière avec la Tanzanie, il offre une vue imprenable sur le majestueux mont Kilimandjaro, dont les sommets enneigés dominent la savane.
Déjeuner pique-nique., dîner et nuit au lodge
Jour 12 : Amboseli - Parc de Tsavo (Extension Mombasa OU ZANZIBAR)
Petit-déjeuner. Puis, départ vers Tsavo. Déjeuner pique-nique. Départ pour un safari au cœur du plus grand parc national du Kenya.
Ce parc est célèbre pour ses éléphants rouges, ainsi appelés parce qu’ils se recouvrent de la terre rouge caractéristique de la région. On peut également y observer une faune très variée : lions, léopards, buffles, girafes, zèbres et de nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux.
